Maru Ririnui

Maru has 12 years experience in the information management and online fields, mostly as a Business Analyst and Project Manager.

He started out in libraries and corporate information units, searching databases and using some of the first online systems in New Zealand to source books from other libraries and journal articles from around the world.

While working for Shell in London, Maru started learning HTML to write web pages and update the corporate library’s pages on the Shell Intranet.

Over the next 2 years Maru completed several courses in web design and development while administering the intranet and website of a central government agency.

A move to the corporate world saw a change in focus to business analysis and project management - gathering requirements, writing specifications and guiding projects in the online space.

Along the way, Maru completed diplomas in eCommerce and Project Management as well as post-graduate study in Business Strategy.

For the last 4 years, Maru has assisted several companies as an independent consultant, most recently with web design company Shift.

Petr Luner

Petr comes from the Czech Republic, where his early years were spent under Russian occupation. One day (3 years ago), shortly after his university studies, he went on a holiday to New Zealand - and stayed there ever since.

Petr obtained masters degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Charles University in Prague. During his studies, he focused stronly on the theory of digital image processing and recognition.

After finishing university, Petr moved into the commercial space to build his career in software development. He started in Prague, and now he continues in New Zealand. He has been holding the position of senior software engineer for the last two years, and his experience includes front-end application development as well as back-end system integration.

At present, Petr focuses on opportunities around mobile software development. His education served him well for developing his first app for the iPhone - the Panorama Taker. And we can soon expect more.
